Parma have insisted that they have not received a single official bid for French winger Jonathan Biabiany, refusing to entertain persistent speculation over an offer from defending Serie A champions Juventus.
The Old Lady have been mentioned in connection with the French youth international on more than one occasion, with Serie A giants Napoli also rumoured to maintain a long-term interest in securing Biabiany's services.
Despite transfer talk Parma sporting director Antonello Preiti remains adamant that Biabiany has not received a single concrete offer to leave the club this season, while revealing a preliminary declaration of interest from Napoli.
He told reporters: "We're not talking about the transfer window right now. A lot of newspapers are reporting things, but we require offers to be made for a player before he can be sold.
"We are just hearing the usual whispers, but we want him to stay at Parma. Napoli's interest? They've never negotiated for the boy.
"This is being talked about because [Napoli coach] Rafael Benitez bossed him at Inter and he appreciated his qualities. However, I can assure you, there has been no contact."
Biabiany has plied his trade in Serie A since 2007, with transfer speculation over his future stretching as far as Sunderland last summer.
