David Dunn joins Oldham Athletic

Former Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn signs a one-year deal with League One club Oldham Athletic.

Oldham Athletic have confirmed the signing of former Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn on a one-year deal.

The 35-year-old joins the League One side as a free agent after leaving Ewood Park earlier this summer.

Dunn made over 300 appearances for Blackburn during a 13-year association with the club.

"David is a very experienced player and he will be a great addition to our squad," manager Darren Kelly told Oldham's official website. "He has Premier League class and his experience will be vital to the younger players in our dressing room."

Dunn is Oldham's fifth new signing ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.
