Lee Croft agrees Oldham Athletic switch

Former Manchester City winger Lee Croft signs a 12-month contract with League One side Oldham Athletic.

Lee Croft has agreed to become David Kelly's first signing as manager of Oldham Athletic.

The 29-year-old winger had been available for a short period of time following his release by Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone.

However, he has now secured a one-year deal with the Latics, which will come into force on July 1.

For Croft, it will be his third stint at Boundary Park, having had loan spells during the 2004-05 and 2012-13 campaigns.

During the latter of those two seasons, the former Manchester City player was voted Oldham's Player of the Year.
