Report: Jack Grealish likely to join Nottingham Forest on loan

Nottingham Forest are believed to be in advanced talks to sign Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish on loan.

The 19-year-old signed a four-year contract with the Villans in September, but has yet to start a Premier League game this season.

The recent arrivals of Carles Gil and Scott Sinclair in wide areas are only likely to limit his chances further and so Paul Lambert is apparently prepared to sanction a temporary move away to the Championship.

Forest manager Stuart Pearce has previously admitted his admiration for Grealish and now Sky Sports News claims that the Reds are hopeful of landing the winger before Monday's transfer deadline.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, who is also eligible to play for England and is yet to commit himself to either senior side, scored five goals in 37 games for Forest's neighbours Notts County last season.
