Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Gil Bastiao Dias on a season-long loan from Monaco.
The Portugal Under-21 winger spent the last campaign at Fiorentina, where he made nine starts and 18 substitute appearances in Serie A.
Dias also boasts a full season in Portugal's top flight, scoring six goals in 34 outings for Rio Ave during the 2016-17 campaign.
Forest confirmed the move with a statement on their official website, adding that "the loan deal includes the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the 2018-19 season".
The 21-year-old is the third Portugal Under-21 international to join the Championship outfit so far this summer following the acquisitions of midfielder Joao Carvalho and winger Diogo Goncalves.
