Fawaz Al-Hasawi confirms Britt Assombalonga signing

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi confirms the signing of Britt Assombalonga on a five-year deal from Peterborough United.

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi has confirmed the signing of Britt Assombalonga from Peterborough United.

The 21-year-old striker arrives on a five-year deal to become the club's record signing at £5.5m, and the move was officially confirmed by the Forest chairman on Twitter.

"We have just made our second signing of the day. Peterborough striker Britt Assombalonga signs a five-year deal. #nffc," he tweeted.


Assombalonga scored 33 times in 58 appearances for Posh last season.
