Preview: Nottingham Forest vs. Fulham

Sports Mole previews Wednesday's Championship clash between leaders Nottingham Forest and bottom-placed Fulham at the City Ground.

Top meets bottom in the Championship on Wednesday night as leaders Nottingham Forest welcome struggling Fulham to the City Ground.

Forest, who are one point clear of Norwich City at the top of the table, continued their unbeaten start to the season on Sunday with a 1-1 draw at home to local rivals Derby County.

In total, Stuart Pearce's side has won four and drawn two of their opening six matches of the new campaign.

While Forest are flying high at the summit of the league, bottom-placed Fulham are still without a victory after six games.

The Cottagers have collected just one point out of a possible 18 so far - a run of form that has led to calls from fans for the club to sack under-fire manager Felix Magath.

Fulham's last outing in the league saw them suffer a chastening 3-0 defeat away to promotion-chasing Reading on Saturday.

Forest could be without Chris Cohen after the midfielder sustained another knee injury versus Derby, while Andy Reid and Matty Fryatt are also doubtful.

Fulham will be able to call upon Bryan Ruiz following his return from international duty with Costa Rica.
