Sports Mole previews t5he Championship clash between promotion chasers Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

Nottingham Forest are looking to recover from their first loss under Billy Davies and keep their playoff push alive tonight against Middlesbrough.

Forest tasted defeat for the first time in 11 Championship matches to Cardiff City last weekend, falling outside the top six on goal difference as a result.

Davies is without striker Darius Henderson tonight through suspension following his red card against Cardiff, with Billy Sharp waiting in the wings for a 250th career league start.

Boro are without a win in eight games and have only scored in one of their last six matches to leave their promotion push in tatters.

Lukas Jutkiewicz, Marvin Emnes, and Kieron Dyer are doubtful for the home side as they look to ease the pressure on boss Tony Mowbray.

Recent Form:

Boro: LLLDLL

Forest: WWDDDL

Possible starting lineups:

Boro: Steele, Hoyte, Williams, Woodgate, Zemmama, Leadbitter, Halliday, McEachran, Haroun, Ameobi, McDonald

Forest: Darlow, Halford, Ward, Jara, Guedioura, Cohen, McGugan, Moussi, Majewski, Sharp, Blackstock

Sports Mole says: 1-2
