Kieron Dyer signs a short-term deal at Middlesbrough following his release by Queens Park Rangers earlier this month.

Kieron Dyer has completed a move to Middlesbrough on a short-term deal following his release from Queens Park Rangers.

The 34-year-old has been training with Tony Mowbray's side this month and impressed the Boro boss enough to secure a contract.

"He's looked really good in training, nice and sharp," Mowbray told BBC Tees.

"The level he has played his football at over the years suggests he is very talented and he's shown that in training this week."

Dyer made seven appearances for QPR this season, scoring once in his last game against West Brom.
