MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has emerged as the leading contender for the vacancy at Nottingham Forest, according to Sky Sports News.
The Championship side are on the lookout for a new boss following the resignation of Steve McClaren yesterday evening.
Former Forest players Roy Keane and Martin O'Neill have been linked with the job, but 31-year-old Robinson is believed to be high on the Tricky Trees' shortlist.
He became the youngster manager in the Football League when he took over at the Stadium MK aged just 29.
Robinson has previously worked in the Premier League as a coach to Paul Ince during his time in charge of Blackburn Rovers.
