Gary Brazil has insisted that he is not in the frame to become the new Nottingham Forest manager, despite taking charge of the team on Tuesday night.
Forest's academy manager was put in charge as the playoff hopefuls suffered a 1-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic at the City Ground, but he refused to put his name in the hat to replace Billy Davies.
When asked about the possibility of being given the role on a permanent basis, the caretaker manager replied to reporters: "I don't think that's a thought in any shape or form.
"I have been putting a lot of time in over the past year running the academy. I have been asked to hold the fort for the first team and it is something I am happy and comfortable with, but it is up to the owners what they do."
On Tuesday, former England head coach Glenn Hoddle was named as favourite with some bookmakers to take charge of Forest.
