Norwich City favourites to land Benfica attacker?

Norwich City are said to be in "advanced" discussions over the loan capture of Benfica's attacking midfielder Filip Krovinovic.

The 23-year-old endured a difficult last season in Portugal, spending a lengthy period on the sidelines with a knee injury and playing second fiddle to Joao Felix.

According to Record, Benfica are keen to send Krovinovic out on loan for the upcoming campaign and have potential options with fellow Primeira Liga side Vitoria de Guimaraes and Hajduk Split in his native Croatia.

The publication says that the newly-promoted Canaries are the most likely option, however, with talks already at an advanced stage.

Norwich have admitted that they will be operating on one of the smallest budgets in Premier League history next season, likely restricting them to making loan deals and free transfers.

Daniel Farke's side have already completed the loan capture of young winger Patrick Roberts so far this summer.
