Empoli goalkeeper Davide Bassi is reportedly being considered as a replacement for Norwich City stopper John Ruddy.
Ruddy, who narrowly missed out on a place in England's World Cup squad, is expected to earn a move to a Premier League club after Norwich suffered relegation from the top flight.
According to Italian-based TMV, the Canaries are eyeing up potential replacements should the 27-year-old leave Carrow Road, and Empoli custodian Bassi is said to be one of the names that Neil Adams is tracking ahead of a possible move later in the summer.
Bassi helped his current side earn promotion to Serie A during the last campaign.
