Norwich City's match-winner Anthony Pilkington has said that he has redeemed himself with his goal in Saturday's 1-0 win against Manchester United.
Pilkington missed two chances in the Old Trafford fixture last season and has now said that he has proven himself.
"It's good to put those demons away," Goal.com quotes Pilkington as saying. "I could have scored a couple at Old Trafford [last season] but I think I've redeemed myself tonight.
"We're keeping clean sheets against massive teams. It's great to be here at the moment.
"You can't beat playing in the Premier League. Last year we didn't get any big wins and this year we have three already. We always knew we could pick up points and that's what we're starting to do."
Meanwhile, Pilkington's manager Chris Hughton was full of praise for Norwich after the win.
