Johan Elmander reveals that he is excited by the season ahead after joining Norwich City on loan.

Johan Elmander has revealed that he is excited by the season ahead following his loan move to Norwich City.

The 32-year-old Swedish striker signed a season-long deal with the Canaries from Galatasaray on Wednesday.

"I'm very happy - I'm really looking forward to starting training with the lads and to playing some games also," Elmander told the club's official website. "I'm very glad that the deal has been done and now I'm looking forward to the season ahead."

Norwich return to Premier League action on Saturday with a trip to Hull City.
