Johan Elmander joins Norwich City

Former Bolton Wanderers striker Johan Elmander signs for Norwich City on a season-long loan basis from Galatasaray.

Norwich City have completed the season-long loan signing of Galatasaray striker Johan Elmander.

The Swedish international revealed on Twitter yesterday evening that a move to Carrow Road was close, having described himself as "happy" at the prospect of becoming a Norwich player.

The Canaries have now confirmed the deal, which will see the 32-year-old spend the next 12 months with Chris Hughton's team.

Elmander has previous experience of the Premier League, having spent three seasons with Bolton Wanderers up until 2011.
