Neil Adams: 'Norwich City players delivered'

Neil Adams praises his players for surviving a scare against Crawley Town and advancing through to round three of the League Cup.

Norwich City manager Neil Adams has praised his players for overcoming Crawley Town to advance through in the League Cup.

A double from Josh Murphy and a debut strike from Cameron Jerome were enough for the Canaries to book their place in round three at Carrow Road with a 3-1 victory.

"Credit to the senior players tonight as well as the youngsters. They again have delivered," Adams told reporters after the game.

The Norwich boss also confirmed that Ryan Bennett will miss between six and eight weeks after undergoing an operation on his ankle.
