Newcastle United's potential new owners are reportedly keen to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, with the club currently waiting on permission from the Premier League for the takeover.
The 28-year-old's value is set at €80m (£69.8m), with the centre-back likely to leave the Italian club at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
According to Sky Sports News, the Senegal international could be interested in moving to Newcastle if the takeover plans are completed.
Mike Ashley has already agreed to sell the Premier League outfit to a consortium backed by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund.
However, the deal can only be completed if it passes the Premier League's owners' and directors' test.
Koulibaly's contract with Napoli is set to expire in 2023.
