Newcastle United are said to be the frontrunners to secure the services of Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas at the end of the season.
The former Real Madrid stopper is expected to leave Porto this summer and the Magpies are the favourites to sign him, according to Chronicle Live.
Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez has made no secret of his desire to bring in goalkeeping reinforcements, having signed Sparta Prague's Martin Dubravka on loan in January.
Dubravka has made a strong start to life in the Premier League, but the Magpies are reportedly planning to swoop for Casillas regardless of whether the Slovakian makes his move permanent in the summer.
Casillas is also said to be on the radar of a number of other, unnamed, Premier League clubs.
