Real Betis have reportedly made Newcastle United forward Ayoze Perez their top summer target.
The Spaniard has enjoyed a fruitful end to the season, scoring six goals in his last eight Premier League games as the Magpies finished in the top half of the table.
Betis, meanwhile, have clinched Europa League football for next term after building up a 10-point cushion between themselves and seventh place in La Liga with one game to go.
According to The Sun, the Seville-based club are ready to test Newcastle's resolve with a bid to take Perez back to Spain, while several other Premier League clubs are also monitoring the 24-year-old's situation.
Perez joined the Magpies from Tenerife for £1.6m in 2014 and has three years left on his current contract.
