AC Milan 'eyeing Hatem Ben Arfa swoop'

Newcastle United winger Hatem Ben Arfa emerges as a target for AC Milan, according to reports.

AC Milan's new boss Filippo Inzaghi is reportedly plotting a move for Newcastle United's Hatem Ben Arfa as he looks to bolster his options on the wing.

According to Calciomercato, the Italian giants are willing to offer the Magpies as much as £12m to secure the French international's services.

This follows on from reports last week, which claimed that Ben Arfa would be surplus to requirements at St James' Park.

Ben Arfa has made 76 appearances for the club since joining from Marseille in 2010, scoring 13 goals.
