Former Newcastle United chairman Freddy Shepherd believes that the Magpies may be forced to relinquish star striker Papiss Cisse in the summer.
The Senegal international has been a welcome addition to the North East club, snatching 13 goals in just 12 appearances for Alan Pardew's side.
"All the vultures will be circling around Cisse in the summer trying to get him away from Newcastle," Shepherd told talkSPORT.
"It's impossible if they want to go, it's no good keeping them. I think there may be an offer Newcastle can't refuse for Cisse coming in."
The 26-year-old scored arguably the goal of the season last night during Newcastle's 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
