Newcastle United manager John Carver will reportedly not be able to call upon Massadio Haidara until May due to a knee injury.
The 22-year-old has been out of action since suffering the problem during the Magpies' 1-0 defeat to Manchester United earlier this month.
According to The Shields Gazette, Carver has revealed that Haidara will not be fit in the "near future" and is unlikely to be available again until May.
Meanwhile, Mehdi Abeid could return to action on April 5 for the Wear-Tyne derby.
