Saturday's Ligue 1 predictions including Lille vs. Marseille

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Ligue 1 fixtures, including Lille vs. Marseille.

Nantes vs. Montpellier (Saturday, 4.00pm)

Without a victory in 12 league games, Nantes will resume their bid for Ligue 1 survival when Montpellier HSC visit the Stade de la Beaujoire on Saturday afternoon.

Caretaker manager Pierre Aristouy led Nantes to a goalless draw at Toulouse in his first match in charge, while Montpellier snatched a late draw against Lorient last time out.

We say: Nantes 0-1 Montpellier HSC

The shackles are off for Montpellier as they look to finish the season on a high, so we expect the visitors to extend Nantes' winless run in 13 matches by notching a narrow victory at the Stade de la Beaujoire, piling more pressure on the relegation-threatened Canaries.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Lille vs. Marseille (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Marseille will secure a top-three berth if they defeat Lille at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Saturday evening, with the end of the Ligue 1 season in sight.

The hosts, on the other hand, are in danger of slipping out of the European places altogether, as they find themselves one point inside the top five and 13 points shy of OM.

We say: Lille 2-2 Marseille

While Lille's last home defeat came all the way back in August, Marseille have remained a serious threat on the road throughout the campaign, meaning that Saturday's showdown is destined to be a close-fought battle.

Accordingly, we can see Lille and Marseille serving up an entertaining encounter at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, with the two sides sharing the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
