Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski has said that he has no plans to leave the club this summer, with the Poland international expected to see out his contract before departing in the summer of 2026.
Last summer, there had been suggestions that this would be Lewandowski's final season at Barcelona, but he has been in excellent form for Hansi Flick's side during the 2024-25 campaign.
The 36-year-old has scored 29 goals in 31 appearances for Barcelona, including nine goals in eight outings in the Champions League, with the Catalan outfit securing their spot in the knockout round of the competition.
Lewandowski has a contract at Camp Nou until June 2026, with the option of a further 12 months, and he is expected to remain with Flick's side for another full season before likely departing at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

Lewandowski has no plans to leave Barcelona despite advancing years
"I feel very good at Barcelona – not only at the club, but also among the fans," 90min quotes Lewandowski as saying. "I feel it every day; in the stadium, in the streets. I'm really happy where I am and the club where I play. I don't think about anything else and probably nothing will happen in this matter.
"I am proud of how old I am and what age I am. I am not ashamed and I do not see a problem with being 37. From a physical point of view, I am not afraid, but will there be the will? It all depends on how things will work out."
"Today, I have a smile on my face, I play on green pitches with great pleasure and I want to win some more. As long as my heart tells me it is worth it, I will do it."
Lewandowski continues to be linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, and he could potentially be given the chance to finish his career in the lucrative division, but clubs from the MLS are also said to be interested.
The striker made the move to Barcelona from Bayern in the summer of 2022, and he has scored 88 goals and registered 20 assists in 126 appearances for his current side in all competitions.

Which striker could replace Lewandowski at Barcelona?
Newcastle United's Alexander Isak is believed to be Barcelona's leading transfer target in the final third of the field, but the Magpies are unlikely to let him leave unless an offer of £100m is presented.
Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon would be cheaper, potentially around the £60m mark, but there is also significant interest from the Premier League in the shape of Manchester United and Arsenal.
Barcelona have also been heavily linked with Jonathan David, who is out of contract at Lille this summer, but it has recently been claimed that the Catalan outfit have cooled their interest in the Canada international.
Flick's side are still hopeful of boosting their forward line before the end of the January transfer window, and a loan deal for Manchester United's Marcus Rashford remains a possibility for the club over the next few days.
