The Confederation of African Football has confirmed that Morocco will not host the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations as planned.
The Moroccan authorities had called for the tournament, which is due to get underway on January 17, to be postponed due to fears over the spread of Ebola.
At a meeting of CAF executives earlier today, it was decided that the competition will go ahead as scheduled, but that Morocco would be expelled from participating.
Other nations have expressed an interest in holding the tournament, with an announcement expected shortly.
Some reports have suggested that South Africa - where the 2010 World Cup was staged - are the frontrunners to be given the hosting duties.
