Mirandes down Barcelona B

Mirandes have beaten Barcelona B 2-1 in Liga Adelante.

Barcelona's B team have been beaten 2-1 by Mirandes in the Liga Adelante.

After an end-to-end start Ivan Gonzalez opened the scoring on 21 minutes with a calm finish.

With the 1-0 lead held into the break the hosts made the perfect start to the second half with Inigo Diaz de Cerio adding a second.

Barca responded immediately and pulled a goal back just three minutes later through Dani Nieto.

The visitors brought on Sergi Samper and Frank Bagnack late on to try to grab a leveller, but Mirandes held on for the win.
