Millwall have apparently approached Bobby Zamora about the prospect of joining them for next season as his talks with Queens Park Rangers continue to falter.
The 33-year-old striker scored the goal which secured the Hoops promotion to the Premier League via a Championship playoff final win over Derby County.
However, his contract at Loftus Road expired last month and he has yet to agree a new deal which would see him stay with Rangers as they return to the top flight.
Sky Sports News understands that Millwall are looking to take advantage of these seemingly fruitless negotiations and have spoken to Zamora in a bid to persuade him to move across London to The Den.
Former England international Zamora has netted 11 goals in 60 games for Rangers since joining in 2012.
