Bolton Wanderers advanced through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this afternoon with a 2-0 victory at Millwall.
Premier League Wanderers broke the deadlock with just four minutes on the clock. Ryo Miyaichi, who joined the club on a loan basis from Arsenal last month, collected possession before shooting past Steve Mildenhall in the home goal.
Hosts Millwall struggled to create any clear-cut goalscoring chances before the break, with their only efforts on goal coming from distance courtesy of Darius Henderson.
Turkish midfielder Tuncay had Bolton's best chance to extend his side's lead before the break, but his effort was parried by Mildenhall, with Fabrice Muamba unable to convert the rebound.
Bolton continued to dominate after the restart and made the tie safe in the 59th minute when David Ngog's left-foot shot was too powerful for Mildenhall. The goal was Ngog's third for the club since his summer move from Liverpool.
The closet Millwall came to a goal was when Harry Kane's close-range shot was parried by Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan, before Henderson sent the rebound off target.
