Former Marseille defender Patrice Evra is reportedly against the prospect of returning to English football after being sacked by his previous employers.
The Frenchman was sacked by Marseille after kicking a fan in the warm-up ahead of his side's Europa League group-stage game against Vitoria de Guimaraes on November 2.
According to the Daily Mail, Evra, who is set to make a return to football next month, will not be doing so in England.
The left-back has previously played at Manchester United, where he won five Premier League titles as well as a Champions League crown in 2008.
Evra, who moved to Juventus in 2014 before switching to France this season, is banned from European football until the end of June but is still free to play domestically.
