Maritimo and Moreirense get round eight of the Portuguese Primeira Liga underway when they face off at the Estadio do Maritimo on Friday.

Having lost in both home and away fixtures last season, Maritimo will head into the game seeking to get one over the visitors and get their campaign up and running.

After escaping relegation by the skin of their teeth last season, Maritimo have kicked off the new campaign on a poor note and will need to up the ante and strengthen their position on the log. Seeking to bounce back from their respective defeats last weekend, Famalicao and Vitoria de Guimaraes lock horns at the Estadio Municipal de Famalicao on Friday.

Both sides, who are separated by four points in the bottom half of the Primeira Liga table, have endured an underwhelming start to the campaign and will head into the game aiming to get their season up and running with all three points.

Famalicao will need to turn a corner over the coming weeks following their disappointing start to the season. Despite their poor form in comparison to Vitoria's, we expect a cagey contest between the two sides.
