Ashley Young has reportedly decided to pen a one-year contract extension to remain at Manchester United amid interest from Inter Milan.
The 33-year-old is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the season, leaving him able to talk to clubs this month about the possibility of a free transfer in the summer.
Reports in recent days suggested that Young is keen to remain with United but has been asking for a new long-term deal lasting until at least 2021.
According to The Mirror, however, the winger has now decided to accept United's offer of a one-year extension, which is expected to see him earn a rise on his current, £130-a-week deal.
Serie A giants Inter were thought to have been talking to Young's representatives about a deal that would see him move to San Siro this summer on a lucrative two-year contract.
Young moved to United from Aston Villa in 2011 and has since gone on to make 227 appearances for the club in all competitions.
