West Ham United are reportedly keen to sign Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira during the January transfer window.
Having been frozen out by recently-appointed boss Andrea Pirlo, Khedira has acknowledged that he is open to a move to the Premier League in 2021.
Despite being well stocked for options in the centre of the pitch, it has been suggested that Manchester United may look to bring in the Germany international.
However, according to Sport Mediaset, the Hammers have emerged as leading contenders for the 33-year-old.
Much could depend on whether Juventus are prepared to hand Khedira a free transfer due to his absence from the first-team picture this season.
The player's deal is due to expire in the summer, meaning that pre-contract agreements could potentially be reached with foreign sides in January.
