Manchester United considering Sami Khedira approach?

Manchester United could attempt to bring Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira to the club on a free transfer, according to a report.

Manchester United could reportedly attempt to bring Sami Khedira to Old Trafford next summer.

The 33-year-old appears to have played his last game for Juventus, with his contract in Turin due to expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

The Germany international, who was not been involved for Andrea Pirlo's side this term, has told Sky Deutschland that he is open to joining a Premier League club either in January or when his deal with the Old Lady officially expires.

According to The Mirror, United have been alerted to the midfielder's availability and could attempt to sign him on a free transfer.

Khedira has made 144 appearances for Juve since joining the Italian champions from Real Madrid, where he won La Liga and the Champions League during a successful spell.

The Red Devils are also allegedly keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding Madrid captain Sergio Ramos as the speculation surrounding the centre-back continues to gather pace.
