Manchester United have reportedly been put on alert to the potential availability of Juventus winger Douglas Costa.
The 29-year-old has been touted as a possible alternative for Jadon Sancho, who remains United's top transfer target but whose £108m asking price is deemed too high by the club's hierarchy.
Goal reports that Juventus have now lost patience with Costa due to his recent injury problems and would be open to offers for him this summer.
New Juve boss Andrea Pirlo has already undergone a significant overhaul of his squad since taking over, with Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic, Sami Khedira and Blaise Matuidi - all of whom are over the age of 30 - being shipped out.
Costa missed a large chunk of last season through injury and will miss the beginning of the new campaign too.
The winger, who has two years left on his contract at the Allianz Stadium, remains keen to stay in Turin and prove his worth to Pirlo.
In addition to United, clubs in the UAE Pro League are also thought to be considering a move for Costa, although his injury record is causing hesitation among potential suitors.
Costa has only made 40 Serie A appearances over the past two seasons, scoring four goals and creating eight more in that time.
