Valencia to make Juan Mata bid?

Juan Mata could be on his way back to Valencia, with reports claiming that the Spaniard is set to be the subject of a £29.7m bid from the La Liga outfit.

Valencia are reportedly weighing up a £29.7m bid for Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.

The 26-year-old joined the Red Devils from Chelsea in January, but he has seemingly fallen out of favour under new manager Louis van Gaal with a move away said to be on the cards.

Goal.com claims that a return to Valencia is however subject to businessman Peter Lim smoothly completing his takeover of the La Liga outfit.

Mata has featured five times for United this season, scoring two goals.
