Manchester United to grant David de Gea buyout clause?

Manchester United are reportedly under pressure to grant David de Gea a buyout clause in his new contract as Real Madrid loom over the goalkeeper.

Manchester United could reportedly be forced to grant goalkeeper David de Gea a buyout clause in order to convince him to sign a new contract.

The Reds Devils are willing to make the Spaniard the world's highest-paid keeper on £200,000 a week, but his representatives are insisting on an escape route, according to The Mirror.

De Gea has 17 months remaining on his current Old Trafford deal and has been linked with a move back to his native Spain with European champions Real Madrid.

United value the player at £50m, a figure that could indicate what his buyout clause may be should he be granted one.
