Highly-rated winger Memphis Depay has the option to leave PSV Eindhoven this summer, the club has confirmed.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the last 12 months, and he worked under United boss Louis van Gaal at the World Cup last year.
Club director Toon Gerbrands told reporters that Depay, along with attacking midfielder Georgino Wijnaldum, is expected to leave at the end of the season, but he stressed that no club has made an offer.
He said: "Tottenham were willing to offer €20m for Depay. We decided to keep hold of him. But he has the option to leave after this season.
"I think these two players are very attractive to a lot of clubs in Europe. So far, no one has come forward with an offer but I expect we will come under great pressure."
Depay has scored 15 Eredivisie goals so far this season.
