West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing England international Kieran Trippier from Newcastle United.
The Hammers are looking to recruit a new right back after Ben Johnson completed a move to newly-promoted Ipswich Town earlier this summer.
West Ham are pursuing a move for Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with the two clubs currently in discussions over a potential move.
While they may be in talks with Man United, the Hammers are seemingly keeping their options open in their quest to sign a new right-back.
According to The Chronicle, West Ham have made an enquiry about a potential move for Trippier, who is now set to hold talks with Eddie Howe over his Newcastle future.
Having entered the final year of his contract, Trippier has been linked with clubs in Europe and sides from the Saudi Pro League.
West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui believes that the 33-year-old would be a good addition to his squad, while Howe would seemingly prefer to keep hold of Trippier's services.

De Gea set to complete Fiorentina move
Over in Italy, Fiorentina are reportedly on the verge of signing former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
De Gea has spent over a year out of the professional game after leaving Man United upon the expiry of his contract last summer.
The experienced shot-stopper left the Red Devils after making 545 competitive appearances during a 12-year stay at Old Trafford.
De Gea was recently linked with a move to Genoa, but the proposed deal broke down due to the player's wage demands.
However, it still appears that De Gea is set to head to Serie A, with The Athletic reporting that he is set to sign for Fiorentina on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old is set to travel to Italy on Friday, and he will sign a one-year contract with an option to extend by a further 12 months.

Celtic in talks over Idah deal
Meanwhile, Scottish Premiership champions Celtic have reportedly launched a fresh bid to sign Norwich City striker Adam Idah.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic Park, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in 19 appearances.
Idah came off the bench in May's Scottish Cup final to score the decisive goal against Rangers, ensuring that Celtic could celebrate a league and cup double.
The Hoops want to re-sign Idah following his successful loan spell, but they have failed in their attempts to strike an agreement with Norwich.
After seeing a bid of £4.5m plus add-ons turned down last month, Daily Mail are reporting that Celtic have returned to negotiations with a fresh offer.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is pushing to re-sign the Norwich forward and discussions are now ongoing between the two clubs.
The report claims that the Canaries are looking for around £6m to £8m to part ways with a player who is under contract until June 2028.
