Crystal Palace have reportedly reignited their interest in Marseille attacker Ismaila Sarr.
The Eagles are long-term admirers of Sarr and were heavily linked with the forward earlier this summer.
Speculation linking the 26-year-old with a switch to Selhurst Park has quietened in recent weeks, but according to the London Evening Standard, a move could now be back on.
The report claims that Palace view Sarr as the ideal replacement for Michael Olise, who has made the move to Bayern Munich during this summer's transfer window.
Marseille have already signed Mason Greenwood from Manchester United this summer and are keen on Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah, which could open the door for Sarr to depart.
The forward previously played in England for Watford between 2019 and 2023, scoring 34 goals and registering 22 assists in 131 matches for the club in all competitions.

Hugill 'closing in' on Wigan move
Meanwhile, according to the Manchester Evening News, Man United forward Joe Hugill is close to making the move to Wigan Athletic on loan.
The 20-year-old was a notable absentee from the Red Devils squad that travelled to the United States on Wednesday for their pre-season tour.
Hugill scored against Rangers in Saturday's pre-season contest, but he is now allegedly on the verge of completing a short-term move away from Old Trafford.
Wigan are said to be closing in on a loan deal for the forward, who spent the second half of last season with Burton Albion, making 18 appearances for the club, scoring once.
Hugill has a contract at Old Trafford until 2026, but he is yet to make his competitive debut for the club.
Wigan will again operate in League One next term, having finished 12th in the third tier in 2023-24.

Sunderland complete deal for Poveda
Elsewhere, Sunderland have announced the signing of Ian Poveda on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old was released by Leeds United at the end of June, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks.
Sunderland quickly emerged as the favourites for the Colombia international, though, and it has now been confirmed that the Black Cats have signed him on a three-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
"All I want to do is get on the pitch and play for Sunderland," Poveda told Sunderland's official website.
The forward, who spent time with Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester City during his youth career, represented Sheffield Wednesday on loan in the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.
Poveda leaves Leeds with a record of one assist in 30 appearances in all competitions.
