Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to hold talks with the representatives of Lyon defender Joachim Andersen next week.
The Denmark international has quickly settled into life in the Premier League with Fulham since arriving on loan last summer, starting 26 top-flight matches and earning plenty of plaudits for his performances at the back.
Andersen is currently set to return to Lyon at the end of the season, where he remains under contract until 2024, but Tottenham and Manchester United have both been tipped to move for the £25m-rated defender.
According to BT Sports' football podcast Transfer Window, Tottenham will hold talks with Andersen's representatives next week over a possible summer move, and while he is settled at Craven Cottage, he will not extend his stay at Fulham if they suffer relegation.
Lyon director Juninho has already conceded that the 24-year-old will likely leave the Groupama Stadium in the summer, and Fulham may struggle to keep hold of Andersen if European-competing clubs come knocking.
Chelsea, Leicester City and Crystal Palace are all believed to be monitoring the situation as well.
