Sergio Ramos reportedly remains a summer transfer target for Manchester United as the centre-back continues to stall on agreeing a new deal with Real Madrid.
The experienced defender, who has spent the past 16 seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, is about to enter the final two months of his contract.
Madrid president Florentino Perez recently admitted that it is "very tough" to reach an agreement with Ramos, who is also wanted by Paris Saint-Germain.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United are also keeping tabs on the Spain international's contract situation with a view to making a move at the end of the season.
Despite tying down Eric Bailly to a new long-term deal this week, the Red Devils are believed to be in the market for a new defensive partner for Harry Maguire.
Pau Torres, Samuel Umtiti and Ben White have also been touted as possible targets for United.
