Long-serving midfielder Saul Niguez reportedly informs Atletico Madrid that he would like to leave Wanda Metropolitano this summer.

Saul Niguez will reportedly push for an exit from Atletico Madrid during the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old has spent the majority of his professional career with Atletico, making 337 appearances and winning six pieces of silverware.

However, on the back of helping Los Colchoneros win the La Liga title, AS claims that the versatile Spaniard will look to leave Wanda Metropolitano.

The report says that sporting director Andrea Berta will be asked to consider offers for Saul ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are said to be monitoring the situation ahead of potentially making a bid in the region of €40m (£34.32m).

Preferring to generate any extra income as soon as possible, Atletico are unlikely to insist that any interested club meets Saul's release clause of €150m (£128.7m).
