Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente has refused to rule out a move away from Wanda Metropolitano during this summer's transfer window.
The 26-year-old, who is currently representing Spain at Euro 2020, excelled for Atletico during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 13 times and contributing 12 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester United are allegedly keen on the midfielder, with a report earlier this year claiming that the English giants were prepared to pay £68.5m for his signature this summer.
Llorente has insisted that he is "happy" with Diego Simeone's side but said that "anything can happen in football".
"I have many years left [on my contract]. My idea is to stay, I'm fine, I'm happy at Atletico Madrid," Llorente told AS. "We have had a great season winning La Liga. Anything can happen in football, but I don't think about that kind of thing. I am happy and now I am with the national team.
"There were conversations a long time ago, it is true, but nothing happened and the negotiation was not completed. I have no problem."
Llorente has scored 18 goals and registered 17 assists in 81 appearances for Atletico since arriving from Real Madrid in July 2019.
