Roy Keane backs Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic pursuit

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane says that Zlatan Ibrahimovic "would be a good signing" for the Red Devils.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic "would be a good signing" for Manchester United "on a one-year deal", according to former Red Devils captain Roy Keane.

The Swedish international is available on a free transfer this summer as he prepares to leave Paris Saint-Germain, and Man United have been strongly linked with a move.

Keane has claimed that his former club are currently "lacking a few characters" and has backed the pursuit of Ibrahimovic, who is said to be keen on reuniting with Jose Mourinho.

"I think he would be a good signing on a one-year deal. He is a big player, a big character. I have said that United have been lacking a few characters and he would be a good fit there," Keane told ITV.

Ibrahimovic has also been linked with a move to the MLS and Chinese Super League.
