Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly approves the club's decision to launch a pursuit of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of next summer.

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly approved the club's decision to launch a pursuit of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba ahead of next summer.

The Frenchman spent four years in Turin between 2012 and 2016, winning four Serie A titles and reaching a Champions League final ahead of returning to Old Trafford for a fee of £89m.

It is believed that Pogba will seek pastures new over the next summer transfer window having claimed back in June that he was ready for a "new challenge".

According to El Desmarque, Ronaldo has approved of Juventus's decision to make signing Pogba a priority once the summer window opens.

The report states that the Old Lady will look to tempt United with a bid of around £150m.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is also desperate to sign Pogba, with Los Blancos reportedly offering James Rodriguez as part of a deal to sign the 26-year-old earlier this year.
