Arjen Robben: 'I don't want to join Manchester United'

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben is adamant that he doesn't want to join Manchester United this summer, outlining his desire to stay with the Bundesliga champions.

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has admitted that he does not wish to move to Manchester United this summer.

The Red Devils were hopeful that they could secure a deal for the Netherlands international with new manager Louis van Gaal identifying the 30-year-old as one of his top targets.

However, Robben is adamant that he doesn't want to leave Bayern this summer even if United can agree a fee with the Bundesliga champions.

He is quoted as saying by The Mirror: "I don't want to join United. Even if United and Bayern are able to agree a deal over a transfer fee I will not move to Manchester."

United's struggles in the transfer market are not limited just to the 30-year-old as Southampton defender Luke Shaw's move to Old Trafford has reportedly stalled.
