Report: West Ham United bid for Javier Hernandez

West Ham United bid £9m for Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez, according to a report.

West Ham United have reportedly submitted an official transfer bid to Manchester United for striker Javier Hernandez.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford and he spent last season on loan at Real Madrid.

However, he only made 11 starts for the Spanish outfit, who decided against making the move permanent.

According to Goal.com, West Ham have made an offer of £9m for the Mexican international, although it is believed that United value him at £10m.

Hernandez has scored 40 goals in 74 appearances for Mexico.
