Report: Manchester United want Leroy Sane

A report claims that Manchester United are preparing a £12m bid for Schalke 04's German attacker Leroy Sane.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing an approach for Schalke 04's in-demand attacker Leroy Sane.

The 19-year-old joined Schalke's academy in 2011 and made his first-team debut three years later.

The teenager's form this season has not gone unnoticed, with the now German international finding the back of the net on five occasions in 15 appearances.

According to The Sun, Man United have been made aware that the attacker would be available for a price in the region of £12m.

Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in Sane, who scored his first Champions League goal away to Real Madrid during last season's quarter-final clash at the Bernabeu.
