Celta Vigo are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United's out-of-favour goalkeeper Victor Valdes in the January transfer window.
Valdes signed an 18-month contract at Man United in January after initially joining the Premier League club last year on a recovery basis following a serious knee problem.
The Spaniard has since been frozen out at Old Trafford, however, following a disagreement with head coach Louis van Gaal when it came to representing the club's Under-21 team.
It appears almost certain that Valdes will leave the English club in the winter window and according to Radio Nacional Galega, Celta, who are currently fourth in the La Liga table, are strongly interested in bringing the stopper back to Spain.
Valdes, 33, made two league appearances for Man United last season, but has not been involved in the new campaign and has been forced to train away from the first team.
